Top 10 central bank gold reserves
Gold is held by central banks and citizens. In some countries, central banks hold more gold than its citizens, while in other countries, citizens hold more gold than the central bank. For example, the Indian central bank has only 876 metric tons of gold, but the citizens of India hold more than 25,000 metric tons of gold.
